Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that Ventura Collective is established on stolen land in Turtle Island.
Our head office is on the land of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka/Mohawk Nation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg. Recognizing and respecting the Kanien’kehà:ka as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we are today.
As well we are occupiers on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee people.
We recognize that land acknowledgements are not enough and we are committed to continuing our learning about the truth and working towards reconciliation.

Our
Story
Ventura Collective is a justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion consulting firm founded by two Latinx women. Our firm was born from the realization that our experiences of discrimination as racialized women at work weren’t isolated incidents but part of a bigger systemic issue in the workplace.
Our desire to create better places for ourselves and the community at large inspired us to obtain the Diversity and Inclusion International Standard Organization Certification (ISO 30415:2021) and create a consulting firm that partners with committed organizations to develop equitable, diverse, inclusive work environments.
